I embarrassed to say I neglected yesterday’s very important birthday. So below is a belated quote.

If a man is called to be a streetsweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great streetsweeper who did his job well.

-Martin Luther King, Jr.

Correction: MLK was born on September 15, 1929. We just celebrated yesterday so we all could stay home from work. I’m sure, though, that everyone took some time out during the day to reflect on the man. Right?
