I’ve been home from The King & I for about 30 minutes. I’ve just been checking email and whatnot. (UCSC Students take note: it appears UCSC email is down!)

I think I have an EH reed that is going to keep me happy. This means I need to work on another. And another. One happy reed is not enough for safety.

It sounds as if the audience is really enjoying the (nearly 3 hour) show. I am enjoying watching it myself; I have the best seat in the pit for watching! So far there hasn’t been a perfect show, but that’s live performance for you. A few fairly major errors have occurred, none of which I will name here. I don’t write things that are unnecesssary or unkind. I don’t air dirty laundry. And I don’t point out anyone’s mistakes but my own.

But live performance is sure interesting sometimes!

This blog is merely to say I may be slow to blog today (if I do any more at all) and, possibly, the remainder of the week. Time will tell.

But I’m here. And I do answer email, be it ever so slowly.
