I know I can’t complain, but somehow tonight’s show was a rough one to get through. And then my reed died. Ah well.

Now I’m trying so very hard to stay up and watch Letterman to see the Met opera folk … but it’s quite doubtful that I’ll make it. This is way past my bed time.

  1. Funny, the older we get, the harder it is to stay up late! I don’t remember the last time I stayed up late enough to watch Letterman, and I’m only 36.

I read about your failed shopping trip on your other blog–I buy a lot of stuff from Lands End. That way, if it doesn’t fit, I can at least learn that it doesn’t fit in the privacy of my own home, without having to actually get in the car and go to the dreaded mall. 🙂  (I really hate shopping, too!)

  2. Patricia Mitchell

No kidding! After concerts a bunch of us used to get together … moving to a different house each concert. We’d stay up until 2:00.

Now I go home and go to bed. ah well.

I hate shopping. Hate it hate it hate it. I used to love it, though, which is why this is all so bizarre. I should try Lands End. I just have such a difficult body to fit; big thighs, smaller waist compared to said thighs. And I’m 5’8″ and things are often not long enough.

  3. Yep, I have the big thighs/small waist thing too, only I’m 5’2″. And everything is too long. When will these designers learn to make clothes for perfect bodies like ours, I wonder? 😀
