Both KQED and KTEH San Jose to Broadcast I Puritani

Two of the Bay Area’s PBS television stations will broadcast the Met’s I Puritani on Sunday, January 18. KQED will show the opera at noon and KTEH will show it at 5pm. Included in the cast is Anna Netrebko.

Of course I have Opera San Jose so I can’t watch it Sunday, but I’ll set my DVD recorder. IF I remember.

While there are successful classical music stations in places like San Francisco, which seems to be swarming with them, they can be a hard sell.

Hmmm. Is San Francisco swarming with classical music stations? Do they just not reach San Jose? Very curious that this article suggests SF has a lot of stations. I know of only one.
