If you go here you can hear (and watch) some of Martinu’s Fantasie for oboe, string quartet, piano and theremin. The oboist is Heinz Holliger (which you will know the minute you see him, of course) and the theremin is played by Carolina Eyck.

This is a beautiful performance in all ways… Eyck is a musical player and quite lovely which has to be part of the game for her, sort of the Anne-Sophie Mutter of the Theremin..
But I dragged my husband over to watch and he agreed that it was MUCH more refined than Good Vibrations! Jeannette
