TRAVELLERS were given a classical music treat at Glasgow Airport.
Two members of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra played classical tunes as part of Hear Here, a nationwide scheme to encourage better listening.
Oboist Katy McIntosh, 30, and violinist Fiona West, 60, were pushed on an airport trolley by worker Ronnie McInnes as they played their instruments.
Hmmm. I’m not sure playing music in an airport will cause people to listen better. Seems like a rather noisy kind of place to play, yes? And a shopping center? Been there. Done that. Noisy place to try and make music. But I’m sounding grumpy. (Trust me, I have good reasons at the moment.)
Read it and tell me what you think.
I’m guessing it was sort of a kick to do, though, if you got pushed around on a trolley. (Except … well … there’s that reed issue. And bumps. Double hmmm.)
