Well, between last night when I blogged about my ranking and now I’ve been moved down three notches. I’m sure it’ll get a lot worse as more and more people say “You neglected me!” and get added to the list.
Ah well.
It’s kind of like being moved from fifth oboe to sixth oboe. I was already down far enough that going from 24 to 27 doesn’t make a huge diff, does it?
Still, I think I’ll feel sorry for myself for a while. … … …
Okay. Done.
I’m having fun, though, seeing what links Technorati is showing for other blogs. Some are … well … they are weird links and I think somewhat questionable. Some will get bookmarked by yours truly.
As a blogger that’s not featured in any list, I feel like a member of the audience that walks towards the stage during the interval to do a game of “I look more knowledgable than my neighbour who’s also staring at the percussion section pretending he knows all about it” 🙂
But seriously, I found your weblog not because of technorati or lists, but because your comments on Musical perception made me curious about your blog.
And that’s what’ll always remain most important to me: real people sharing their real stories and affecting other people by doing so.
So thanks for making me discover your blog 🙂
Hi there! Thanks for commenting!
I’ve been looking at your blog and trying to figure out where to put it on my list of links. 🙂
You have a very artistic looking site. I’m still trying to figure out how to navigate it, blog-wise; I like to read in order by date, but perhaps that doesn’t matter?
Well … back to your blog to investigate. 🙂
I think my blog probably belongs on your invisible list…hey, cool, you already put it there, thanks! 🙂
The design is a bit different compared to a ‘regular’/ text-oriented blog. I was looking for something more pictorial and found this theme by Derek Punsalan.
Still, there’s some system in it: the pictures link to the 15 most recent posts, sorted on date (I’m still trying to figure out how to put the actual date in the picture). Once you’re in a post, you can browse through it by using the previous and next buttons.
Hmm. I think your blog does belong here … maybe just in “Mostly Music” for now? I guess I should start a percussion category, eh?
I would love the date in the picture so I know which is the latest. But maybe that’s just me 🙂
Yeah, I think percussion is slightly underrepresented in your list 🙂 There’s some percussion blogs around, but not very many, unfortunately, and most of them are about drumming.
Stirring the kettle would be my category I guess 🙂
I’ve messed around with a date on the frontpage posts, but I find it rather ruins the design…
