If you listen to classical music for more then 20 minutes I promise your stress level will drop a ton. Try it out!

… but what if you don’t like classical music? Seems to me one’s stress level would then rise.

But what do I know?

  1. Personally, I’ve always thought a lot of the antagonism towards classical music is cultural rather than actual (i. e. it’s just not hip), but, on the other hand, that’s a Western perspective – what’s the equivalent for someone from India, China, Japan, Korea or any of the other Asian cultures?

  2. i hate when people call classical music “relaxing.” mozart or haydn might be relaxing, but i don’t find stravinsky, bartok, shostakovich, etc etc etc even remotely relaxing. try falling asleep to the rite of spring.
