The only thing worse that being told you have to wear a long sleeved white blouse or top for a concert when you don’t own one is being told, after you have purchased a long sleeved white top and removing the tags, that you don’t have to wear it after all.

Sigh.

It was so easy to send out the email with the instructions to wear the top. Wouldn’t it have been just as easy to tell us to nix that thought the minute the nixing was decided? I would have thought so. I guess they didn’t.

  1. It could’ve been worse…let’s say, maroon? Lime green? Mustard yellow? I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with those colors/prints, but white is, if nothing else, more versatile, no?

  2. Yep, white is better, although I never wear white; I can’t keep clothes clean, and white is the worst.

BUT … this gave me something to whine about. So I’m a happy camper. 😉

  3. Is this the concert where you have been asked to wear red T-shirts from Target?

Just think about poor Rae Ann…with her ample blessings she’s NOT looking forward to this!

  4. Yep, that’s the concert. I managed to get home between rehearsal and concert; oh, the joys of living 7 minutes away!

The t-shirts come in some good sizes, so it’s not TOO bad, but still ….

We are directly underneath the San Jose airport’s flight pattern. I’m going to try to keep track of the number of planes landing during the performance. Just for fun. 😉
