… woo hoo … and I have a good reason now!
People who play a high wind-resistance instrument like a trumpet, oboe, French horn or bassoon, especially when they play high-pitched notes, can more than double their eye pressure.
reed on!
Take a look-see at the more of what I do and who I am if you feel like it! (I'm not "just" oboe and English horn. Honest!)

wonder if your eyes could pop out that way… probably not.
Apparantly, you can get an inguinal hernia if your breath support is too good, or something like that.
Ick … eyes popping out sounds pretty horrific!
So perhaps I shouldn’t have good breath support, eh? 😉
On the other hand, it would make a terrific Halloween trick.
To quote many of my students, Lane, “Ewwwww. Gross!”
😎
Well, it’s a good idea… I have a Halloween party straight after orchestra, so I don’t have time to change.. I could go as the eyeless oboeplayer XD
But I don’t think I’ll do that.
Hmmm. I suppose pulling one’s eyes out WOULD be a bit extreme. (And another “ewww” moment.)
