And so Opera San José begins. Today is our first rehearsal. This means no singers; just the orchestra running through the opera. I’m not sure how long it is, since we have quite a number of cuts (there’s a lot of ballet music in this opera). I’m looking forward to getting back in the pit with my good pals. Fun times!
As long as the reeds cooperate, of course.
