I don’t know how you pronounce it, but he’s *definitely* wrong. I’ve seen various cast members and other opera types giggling about it on Facebook.
I’m about 99.9% sure it’s ee-doh-meh-NE-oh.
I would’ve put “nay” for that fourth syllable, but that would imply a diphthong that doesn’t belong. And the third syllable is a schwa. I need the IPA!
