I was looking at the German translation for “Angels We Have Heard on High” and these are not the words to that. Same tune, same chorus … different words?

I’m not sure, but it could be the German version of Angels from the Realms of Glory. I’m used to hearing Angels from the Realms of Glory to the tune “Regent Square” (as in http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-paqePRfRc8), but YouTube has a lot of videos of choirs singing it to the tune of Angels we have Heard on High. (Such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocenOoBWwTM)
