Remember those commercials? Maybe they are still out there; I rarely watch TV commercials these days, thanks to DVR.

Anyway, Madonna believes it, that’s for sure!

Madonna believes that it will be well “worth it” for fans to pay $300 a pop to see her next tour.
As the Material Girl told Newsweek about her plans to tour in support of her upcoming album, “M.D.N.A,” the star seemed highly dismissive of fan complaints about high ticket prices.
“Start saving your pennies now,” said Madonna. “People spend $300 on crazy things all the time, things like handbags. So work all year, scrape the money together, and come to my show. I’m worth it.”

  1. She wants to charge $300 and criticize the fans who complain? Fine. I really don’t care. I just wonder how many of the folks who will pony up the $300 (or the $245 top ticket price to see a Sharks game) will say in the same breath that symphony and opera are “elitist,” when in fact it’s not possible to pay that much for a single seat to ANY group I play with!!

  2. This is why I go nuts when I hear the “classical music concerts are too expensive!” complaint from people. So silly.

Madonna can charge what she wants, I’m sure. I was noticing a lot of people going crazy over her halftime show yesterday (during the Superbowl). I watched. I don’t get her. So whatever.
