Dear girl who plays Lady Gaga on her flute,
I play Ke$ha on my oboe.
Sincerely, I think we’ll get along just fine.
Extra, extra … yep … a double ACappellaTuesday™ day!
Singers are Pete Avendano (from Italy), Julien Neel (from France), Enrico Imbalzano (Philippines)
Insight gained last night: You can’t play jazz with an oboe. But you can dance.
Miles Davis: Lament
JB Craipeau
… Clara Schumann, that is. These were published in 1855 and were written for violin and piano (yes, we oboists can steal too!). Robert Schumann’s were written in 1839. I hear similarities. How about you?
