BIG shout out to my colleague [name here] who had my back when I smashed my reed on the bell of her oboe just 5 measures before an oboe solo and she jumped in and played it for me with NO notice, a solo I might add started on a low C# and she wasn’t even playing on that piece. AMAZING [name here]!!
If you want to make me pissed, talk to me about that kid who stole my first chair oboe music out of my folder when I was 14.
