Some seemed rather skeptical about them. Some couldn’t believe anyone would really fall for it. But now the New York Times has a story about a “Nanny Scam” … I think that might clarify how some of these scammers operate. It’s pretty darn amazing. Read it now!

Of course one can’t really imagine someone would hire a nanny without meeting her or him in person. I would think that would immediately give someone reason to question. But when someone needs a job badly (and musicians usually fall into that category too) I think we let our guard down a bit.
