A film by Matt Dine
His note on the YouTube page: “My new film about Albrecht Mayer and his AM155 model oboe by Gebrüder Mönnig” (Well, I added the umlauts!)
It’s fascinating to watch an oboe being made. At least I found it so!

Take a look-see at the more of what I do and who I am if you feel like it! (I'm not "just" oboe and English horn. Honest!)

Piazzolla Suite for Oboe and Strings
Watching the tone holes being created by machine was really fascinating. I also liked it when they fast-forwarded putting all the keys on the oboe. I wonder since the Albrecht Meyer oboe is especially designed/crafted for him, how many other people find it really perfect for them as well. It would be interesting to try playing one. Good film.
I, too, was fascinated by the drilling of the tone holes.
I’m quite the fan of Meyer! 🙂
