I love choirs. I mean I REALLY love them. I wish I had a good voice. I wish I could sing. I sing, instead, through my instruments.

When I find something like this, with high school students singing, it brings me such joy and makes my heart happy. Okay, really it makes me cry. Just because it hits me that way. This is from the TMEA All-State Mixed Choir (TMEA: Texas Music Educators Association)

I know, I know, I’m a goofy sappy person. But maybe it’ll hit some of you as well. In any case, how wonderful to see SO many high school students making music together, don’t you think?
