Johann Sebastian Bach: Suite n. 6 in D major BWV 1012
It is possible that, when Johann Sebastian Bach composed his Suite No. 6 in D major BWV 1012, he had the violonchelo da spalla –an instrument that, in all probability, he was familiar with– in mind. The five strings of this rare instrument, presented for the first time in Spain in this concert, facilitate the performance of this complex work.
