These kids always make me smile because they are so involved in their music making.

“The PS22 Chorus of 2015 sang this poignant English version of this Mozart duet from his opera The Magic Flute (“Die Zauberflöte”) farewell performance at their graduation ceremony. And the kids never sounded better….”

Ennio Morricone will compose the score to Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film “Hateful Eight.”

Morricone rose to prominence as a composer for classic Western films including “Once Upon a Time in the West” and “The Great Silence.” He has also composed the scores to iconic films such as “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly” and “Bugsy.”

The news was announced at the film’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. It will be Morricone’s first score for a Western film in 40 years.

I read it here.

Hmm. He wrote “Gabriel’s Oboe”. Maybe we’ll get “Hateful Oboe” now.
