I love this piece! (Wasn’t it originally for bassett horn or something, though…? I can’t quite remember its history…)
Hmmm. That’s news to me (about the basset horn). Maybe the basset horn was used in the opera? I’ll have to check it out at some point. Or not … since I’m lazy! 😉
