maybe readers will?

Check out the oboe lament teddy bear and let me know what you think.

But hey … there’s more!

I have to admit that when I see the original artwork I really want to do something about the oboist’s embouchure and hand position. Sigh. I just can’t help myself!

Speaking of things like this, though, I’m still pondering putting together some shirts, both of the Quit Work: one and of an oboeinsight logo. I don’t know if anyone wants things like this, but I have gotten a number of offers to buy my Quit Work t-shirt. I just have to figure out how to get the logo large enough to work for the shirts.

ADDED LATER:
Reading about the bear with the oboe pic on it, there is this: “An enigmatic figure robed in purple softly playing the oboe.” Hmmm. Is “softly” in the correct place? I dunno. It bugs me, that’s for sure. I think I’d want it after the word “oboe” … but I do know that I’m not an English Language Queen or anything! Still, the thing is, since it’s a picture … how the heck do we know how loudly or how softly the oboist is playing anyway, eh?

Maybe I’m just feeling ornery today. Valentine’s Day does bring out the best in me. 😉

Love is like a violin. The music may stop now and then, but the strings remain forever.
