I wasn’t sure where the test would take me, since my profession isn’t one that fits a business kind of mold and some of the questions didn’t fit for a music gig. But of course the answer isn’t at all surprising. It is a bit of a relief, I suppose. I always seem to need to be told that I really am in the right profession. I’m not sure why, since there’s nothing else I can really do. Hmmm. Silly me. But as I’ve said before, there seem to be two kinds of musicians (if I were to whittle it down to something rather simple); I see those who think they are God’s gift to music (and usually to the world) and those that are constantly worried that they aren’t up to par, don’t know a thing, and will soon be found out. Since I fall into that latter category, though, I could be all wrong about this! 🙂

I’m a Talent!

You’re a risk-taker, and you follow your passions. You’re determined to take on the world and succeed on your own terms. Whether in the arts, science, engineering, business, or politics, you fearlessly express your own vision of the world. You’re not afraid of a fight, and you’re not afraid to bet your future on your own abilities. If you find a job boring or stifling, you’re already preparing your resume. You believe in doing what you love, and you’re not willing to settle for an ordinary life.

If ya ain’t got it in ya, ya can’t blow it out.

-Louis Armstrong

(I found this here. I’m assuming Terry Teachout will let me know if it’s incorrect!)
