… I get to go see (and hear) The Light In The Piazza.

I’m fairly jazzed about this!

In other news … well … there really isn’t any other news today. I’ve been lazy, aside from one lesson taught. I’m working on organizing all the music I’ve purchased from emusic.com. (If you want to subscribe you can always give me some credit and I’ll get, I think, some free music. I’m just not sure how you go about giving me credit. Oh well!) I’ve done a bit ‘o laundry. I ate. But not too much. (Really!) And I only left the house to take Jameson to a voice lesson.

Mostly I’ve enjoyed the comfort of home.

Sounds boring, I know, but there you go. Add a zero after August 3 and you come up with August 30 … that’s when life gets back to nearly busy (still no university teaching until mid-September); Opera San José starts up then, with Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette.

Meanwhile, to those of you with “real” jobs or with summer playing gigs (grumble, grumble … I’m trying not to turn green!): carry on.
