I know I’ve mentioned the odd Marigaux oboes before, but I just happened upon them again today, and thought I might have new readers here.

First there is the altuglas oboe. Hmm. So would one be able to see all the lovely condensation? I suppose it would help guarantee one would have brushed one’s teeth before playing. Or we can hope ….

They also offer the same thing: an altuglas English horn is here, along with other EHs. (Isn’t the rosewood lovely? I think I’d like that just because of how pretty it is!)

And then there’s the M2 … an oboe I’d really love to try just because the short top joint and long middle joint seem so bizarre to me. It has key alterations as well. Interesting.

Finally, you can check out all of these. I’m guessing some of you haven’t seen these before …?

Enjoy.
