I was going to blog about a couple of my pet peeves when it comes to orchestra members. I was going to say that I go crazy when string players do the whole turn the head nearly all the way around to stare a a wind player who is in the middle of a solo (bad idea; it’s distracting and you often do it when we miss an attack or make a mistake) and I go nuts when a musician who isn’t sitting in a solo chair moves around so much he/she looks like he/she thinks he/she is the Most Important Player on Stage.

But I’m not going to blog about these things just on the off chance someone might think I’m blogging about him/her.

Whew. I’m glad I’ve decided not to blog about these things. I feel better already.
