In all my years of playing, I don’t recall every doing the Elgar Cello Concerto. It could very well be that the San Jose Symphony (RIP) played it, but I played English horn in that group so I may have missed it. For some reason I’m thinking someone like Zara Nelsova may have done it with us, but I can’t say for sure.

In any case, I’d love to play it some day.
