Piazzolla Suite for Oboe and Strings
Notice that the dog howled only during the out-of-tune harmonics of the natural horn; he kept silent during the 1-3-5 open notes.
This reminds me of my horn lessons in high school; my horn teacher’s sheep-dog “sang” along with my lessons. When he got tired he lay on my feet. The dog, that is.
I think this prepared me well for a professional horn playing career!
