… because I’m the sharing sort. Hah!

One of the best things we did for the wedding was to hire Katy Regnier as the photographer. At least as far as I’m concerned. And since I’m the MOB I think I get to make that decision, yes?

Well, she’s posted some wedding photos now. Aren’t those absolutely stunning?

If you are looking for a wonderful photographer, Katy would be at the top of my list.

“Goldenttusk (huh?) likes to write lyrics to popular movies. Funny how they could all be turned into musicals after hearing what he does.

Today is Percy Grainger’s birthday. I played a lot of his music back in high school and college, when I was in a wind ensemble (we used to call them bands, but that doesn’t sound nearly as good, right?). It was, well, I suppose charming might describe some of it. Innocent in a way.

He was one … um … interesting guy.

I used to think the way a musician played, or the music a composer composed, would be congruent with the person. I’ve learned that is not always the case.
