Videos like this make me smile. You never know when you are hearing and seeing a future great oboist, right?

And here’s another he probably made at the same time (?) … same outfit anyway. Bravo to this young oboist!

    hehe too cute! I wonder if I grew up now in the youtube era, I would have video footage of me playing flute too… as proof that I was good once a long time ago. 🙂

    Isn’t it cute, though!?

    When I was young my father had us give mini-performances (on piano; it was before I began oboe) and we’d have to state, for the reel-to-reel tape recorder, our name and age. I’m guessing those are still around somewhere!

    “I’m Patty Emerson and I’m going to play …”. I’m surprised he didn’t film us with his old movie camera, too!
