Earlier I blogged about the world’s fastest fingers. Jack Cozen Harel sent me an email to draw this (he is the oboist) to my attention:

Of course we all know that speed isn’t what makes music music. Right? But those are fast fingers, to be sure.

Actually, the Canadian Brass version of the Tuba Polka (originally the Clarinet Polka) is pretty awesome (Chuck Daellenbach is a Tuba God), especially where he sings while playing to get the extra notes (I always enjoyed doing that, and I think it actually helped my playing). He might’ve done Bumblebees, too. In fact, I think I’ve got a recording of it…shoot, now I have to go look (most likely it’s in my car, though).
