After teaching today I’m going to (finally!) go through all my links on the right of this page and see what should be kept and what should go. It’s time. So stay tuned … and if you’re a blogger and think you should be added (or even subtracted) — or if you fear you’ll be removed and don’t want to be — do tell! I’ll listen. Promise.
I have so much work to do on this site. I simply can’t keep up. And while I find playing around with the site more fun than reed making, I do have to be responsible much of the time and pay attention to those silly pieces of can(e*).
*typo corrected … thanks Nancy! 😉
Hi Patty,
It would be great if you would add my blog – newhornist.com – in your ‘tooting their own horns’ section. I’m writing about my experiences learning the horn again after a long, long lapse. I stopped playing after college in 1972 and went back to it in May 2008.
I’ve been reading and enjoying your blog and I have a link to it on my links list.
Thanks,
Tina
Hi Tina,
I just visited your blog; it appears you don’t have blog entries on the main page?
In any case, I’ll check it out more when I get a minute and probably go ahead and add it. I do like to make sure people are blogging on a regular basis before adding. (And I sure need to take a few off due to that!)
Cheers!
Patty
Hi Patty,
Thanks for looking at my blog! I have the blog set to go to the welcome page first because I think new readers should start reading at the beginning and blogs are newest first. Since I’ve been writing from April this may not be necessary anymore or maybe it was a bad idea to begin with.
My blog entries are listed in the column on the right and I have a page called ‘All my posts’ that list my entries in sequence. I usually write two posts or more per week though my mom has been in the hospital so I have slacked off for the past few weeks. She’s home now so I’ll be back to blogging again more frequently.
Sincerely,
Tina
