    Okay, I’m being a tad nitpicky. Can’t expect to see all one’s favorites on a top ten list. Nice to see a nice smorgasboard here, something from each major era. I’m especially pleased to see Palestrina and Shostakovich on the list.

  2. Yeah, all of us would have different lists, I’m sure, but I was impressed that it wasn’t somebody’s “I loved these when I played in high school band” lists (Holst Planets and the like). So there’s that.
