Seems
to me
at 53
I
was young and free.
But
no more
now 54
I think
I’m just a bore!
😉
(I doubt I’ll put up any more goofy poetry … but you never know! This IS how I handle being another year older, after all.)
reed on!
Take a look-see at the more of what I do and who I am if you feel like it! (I'm not "just" oboe and English horn. Honest!)

Happy birthday Patty!
54 is the new 40. And, as we know, 40 is the new 30. Do the math.
Many happy returns!
Ooh, I like that math! Of course I’ve always been horrible at math, Bill.
Thanks! 🙂
Happy Birthday!!! You can take comfort from knowing you’ll always be younger than me…does that help?
Hmmm. Maybe. Maybe not. Can’t decide, dk. I’ll ponder ….
Happy Birthday, Patty!
Let’s see, you’re a year older…QHMYGAWD! Then so am I!
Didn’t even notice…
So sorry to remind you of that, Bob. Ah, time … who understands it, eh?
Bonne anniversaire! I wouldn’t mind revisiting my waistline from a few years back, but other than that I wouldn’t trade. Well, OK, I could do without the hormonally-fueled meltdowns too. But even those I’ll take, plus the graying hair and dry skin, considering the alternative. You make it look sleek and graceful, by the way. XXX
Well gee, that is SO kind of you to say, patti with an i! I have rarely felt sleek and graceful, but I’ll take it! 🙂
And I’m with you … I’m happy being this age. By FAR better than some younger years … although, to be honest, I still feel like a goofy teenager when it comes to insecurities and all. Go figure!
