I’d love to get opinions. I’ve reactivated the onswipe plugin for tablets, and I’d like to get opinions: do you like the blog better that way, or do you prefer it look just like the regular blog? I’m still debating. It’s kind of fun to take advantage of the ability to swipe — moving back and forth between things. I do wish, though, that I could change the color and the look of things, and I don’t know how to do anything like that yet. (But hey, they say to keep a brain learning new tasks is a good thing, so maybe this’ll help the old noggin’ yes?) It also makes me realize how many things I set up incorrectly when I began this blog!
Always more work to do ….
Argh! I am now using my iPad and the onswipe plugin isn’t really working. Sooooo … any of you who are viewing this on a tablet … Can you tell me what you see? Please?
I like the new template. It works great on iPad for me… so far. 🙂
Nice to hear that, Brandon! I do hope we get more things to choose … like color choices at least. But I think it’s bare bones at this point. Still, it’s fun to have it work the way it does!
Hey Patty,
Oh No! I sent you this thing and it’s been a pain in the neck, it seems. I too use wordpress, but I haven’t tried this plugin yet.
I just looked at your site using my iPad and I can’t tell any difference from the regular view. Did you disable it again?
I still don’t know exactly what to expect from it, but I imagine it is something like the user interface with Flipboard. If you don’t have that yet, get it from the app store. It is pretty much my favorite app on the iPad. Makes for browsing twitter, Facebook news stream, and any RSS feeds you have way more easy and enjoyable than I’ve seen otherwise. They also have various news outlets and magazines whose content is formatted to work extra nice with the Flipboard setup.
I’m looking at it on my iPad right now, Matthew, and it is working … so I’m finding this whole thing rather curious! Sometimes onswipe is working & sometimes not, it seems. Hmm. BUT I think I like it … maybe they just have some bugs to work out?! If you click on one of the blog entries does THAT take you to the onswipe view, I wonder? That’s what happend to me once. Now the only trouble is that one person told me today that when she clicked on my blog (via Facebook) on her iPhone it froze her phone. Uh-oh! Gotta figure that one out … not sure if that’s an onswipe issue or something else.
Too bad I’m a total computer idiot, eh? Ack!
