“I always loved the skate way of life and I think it is still my mind set. Being a composer has many things in common with practicing some ollies, slides and grinds on a skateplace: Hard, sometimes painful work resulting in an ability without any obvious value. Yet, it feels like total freedom.
When I am on the “Trini”, a beautiful, urban, self-build skate place, created on the fundament of a demolished high rise building in Dresden, I feel romantically close to those free spirits.”
