Stop apologising, stop trying to sell our music by dumbing it down. Sell opera on the basis that it is like nothing else on the planet, not on the basis that it’s superficially cool and hip – that is so phoney.
Every time I read something she has said, read her blog, or watch one of her Vlogs, I just feel like I’m seeing/hearing a real person, rather than a diva, even though she IS a Diva.
She’s also a very fine photographer!
