Next up with Symphony Silicon Valley is Bach & Mahler with the wonderful Tatsuya Shimono. I always love working with him: he is one fine conductor and is so very musical.
I thought I’d see if he is on YouTube with Mahler 5, since that’s what I will be playing with him, but landed on some Mozart instead. That’ll do. The Gran Partita is one of my absolute faves!
