I have always liked Alma’s music. I have taken to her straight away, which is unusual for a contemporary composer. Althpogh I cannot travel to the US, I wish her well, having seen the opera in Viena just before Christmas last year.
It will be interesting to hear how she develops as a composer: her writing isn’t quite “contemporary” at this point. More like the romantic era or something. I look forward to hearing her as she grows!
