Disappointment Abounds

I just learned that a male oboist I have respected has said that women simply can’t play oboe as well as men.

Respect gone.

I also learned that another player wants to get rid of older players and limit tenure.

I’m just rather sad at this point.

I am so sorry you heard this. I hope that this man’s opinion is not the norm of how people truly think. Your English Horn playing is beautiful in the Swan of Tuonela. I just discovered you.
