Rehearsal #1: “Oh! I think this will be just fine after all. Such a relief!”
Rehearsal #2: “Yep, I’m getting it. It’s not easy, but if the reeds hold out I’ll manage.”
Rehearsal #3: “My reeds!” Sigh. “I think ALL of my reeds are dying and this is harder than I thought plus I have too many solos!”
Rehearsal #4: “I’m just not ready. I can’t do this!”
