Here is a VERY rough translation thanks to google translate:

Quiet, beautiful evening hour, O, how beautiful is your arrival!
Up on the mount I see the night’s silent host of stars
Quiet is the rustling of the dark forest, the song is hushed in it too;
Just the slow roar of a spring Like a lullaby still tones.

The man of the day wishes to rest After the workday’s battle,
And towards home he is seen hurrying to enjoy its peace.
The sailor, who out of distress and danger Happily rode out the storm,
Delighted to be at home After stormy journey ends.

Rejoice too, my heart, See in faith your new home!
No sorrows no pain Dwell in God’s Jerusalem.
Short is the journey soon, may it happen Do you rest in Jesus’ arms.
May we all land happily Finally in heaven’s beautiful harbor.
