Yesterday was my final performance as a tenured Opera San José member. I played an opera, I took a bow on stage with colleague Cynthia Baehr (she’s not retiring, but stepping down from her concertmaster position), recognized at a donor event after that, and then my dear friend, Pam Hakl, put together a dinner at Il Fornaio, where a number of wonderful friends and colleagues made me feel so very loved.

I have had a wonderful career, I’ve made dear, dear, friends, and I’m ever so grateful!
I’ll go ahead and continue teaching for a time, and I remain on the sub lists of both OSJ and SSJ, but younger players are out there, and they deserve the work!
So now what? Well … if you read pmtravelingtimes you’ll find out!
